What was found when I lost myself in you.

Found In You

I lose myself in you seamlessly

Time stops in your eyes

Pulling me into a world of flawless eternity

Surrounded by diamond studded skies

Dreams dart around me

Enticing me to enter them

With the lure of the unimaginable unseen

And of sins conjured in the P.M.

Your thoughts are a chaotic beautiful mess

Of unorganized fields of blossoming love & disillusions

But I'm here to tend to the fields

To weed out the rows of doubt & confusion

Your heart once thought frozen over

Sits lonely in an isolated chamber

Just wants a night in shinning stars

To guide and watch over her forever

But what I found when I lost myself

To all the magic tricks you use

While searching your heart for love

 I found myself in you.

I think your image of the ocean was quite appropriate. When I feel lost or alone I always imagine slowly descending in the water or just stare at the sea. Well written! I love your word choices and the structure. Simply beautiful :)

Holy wow!! You've just left me spellbound.. i will say words can't express the feeling i got by reading this. Its an ecstasic feeling to find yourself in someone else.. you've penned it wonderfully.the part which i loved the most is the fourth stanza - how you beautifully describe her heart being frozen but you are tending it so that the chamber of her heart will be warm and welcome for you.. You have expressed the feeling of immense joy when we find ourself in someone special by losing ourself in them.. well done Christian. :)

I love how carefully chosen it feels just by reading that the words were chosen. They flow together like they were meant to be in this specific order, exclaiming, and yet, whispering how the narrator cares for "the girl of their dreams".
