Telepathic Love Poem

 

 

These words are like tiny stars

that hang on black strings

tied to the tips of pine tree branches

that hover and dip in the breeze,

creating momentary sparkles.

 

It's tragic when words are spoken

but no one is willing to listen.

My last poem was a disaster

but you are the master of words.

Dear poet.

Oh how I listen to your verses

and I wonder why God curses 

the people who live on planet earth.

The truth is, I have this feeling

that I cannot describe

but you can read my mind

and say what I am thinking.

This poem is beautiful. And deeply pangs the heart, beacause you (or the protagonist) feels their voice/heart is going unheard.

The imagery of the first stanza is remarkable, sets the tone very well.

I like this poem as well. Deeply.

Even more so after the second read. Noticing there is a partner of which speaks your words already so eloquently for you. Love and despair wrapped in one.
