Hush.

Hush.

A Poem by Mickey Hyde
"

Have your secrets ever eaten you alive?

"
Hush.
I'm alive.

Although I am dead inside.

I've been buried beneath secret, after secret,

Slashed with cut, after cut..

I can no longer tell apart reality,

And the fantasies that have turned into nightmares.

I feel choked.

Yet, for some reason,

I am still breathing.

I wish for my soul to become bare,

for the secrets and whispers to become heard.

Yet, there is no one.

I am weak.

I'm beaten,

I myself am the abuser.

Tears roll down my cheek,

and my blood floats away,

As that is the only thing that i can shed.

I'm buried.

I've taken my secrets to my grave.

And even after,

I am still choking,

On all of the secrets,

I had no choice but to save...
