Washington's Finest Halls

Washington's Finest Halls

A Poem by Heart Of A Wolf
"

For a contest i entered. Hope you enjoy

"

We are naught but

A world of dolls,

Dangling on strings from

Washington's finest halls.

We mingle with the

Right and sophisticated,

Who hold the world

With fingers which are incenerated.

From sins done to

Hide unforgiveable truth

While sitting and smiling

Behind a nominational booth.

On strings we play

By politics rules,

Laid out by high-class,

Political, ruthless fools.

If they actually abided

By our country's first motto,

Our land would be a better place

And we wouldn't need the lotto.
