I Saw...

Description of a picturesque evening spent at beachside.

I Saw once in the evening sitting ashore
The light breeze cause the leaves on trees to sway some more
I Saw the waves with their gentle voice crawl towards the noisy shore
And then return back to the quite ocean they adore
I Saw jaunty souls playing in water
Then their footprints being swept by waves that totter
I Saw the incandescent sun setting steadily
As along the birds fly home murmuringly
I Saw the sky dark be
And now the luminating city lights all around me
I Saw though there was noise and crowd on the beach
Silence and Solitude was enjoyed by each
I Saw an exquisite sight that gloaming
Also perceived the entity possessed in crowd by each while roaming.

Every writer has their niche solace in Nature. I dwell in fog, cold and rain. And looking at few of your works, I assume that your solace is the beaches, shores and the sun. I love the fact that how our solace are so contrasting.
