Verses of the Wandering Soul 1

Verses of the Wandering Soul 1

A Poem by Kingsley M. U. Obike
"

A troubled mind seeks solace in prayer

"

1.       Oh Divine Inspirer,

Help this sorrowful heart,

The anguish and pain

Freezes me to a start.

Oh Divine Healer,

Help this fearful mind,

Troubling is the notion

That leaves one behind.

Oh Divine Deliverer,

 Help this sinful soul,

With so much dirt and spoil

Only hoping again to be whole.

Oh Divine Savior,

Save me from me,

Recklessness and impatience

Shall not overwhelm me.
