So They're Gods?

So They're Gods?

A Poem by Missing Entity
"

Let me ask you this: are we damned forever by our temptation? Or loved forever by their damnation?

"

What do I want to say

What could I ever pray

These faceless gods they seem to taunt

Their winged loves forever haunt

My burning soul, my bleeding heart

Are tortured by their glowing marks

Faceless gods, or faceless demons?

Winged loves, or winged evils?

Damned forever by my temptation?

Or loved forever by their damnation?

To worship them in crystal halls

To pray for them to be enthralled

We ask for pain, we ask for curse

For nothing lies instore but hearse

Beauty shrouds what lies behind

Goodness lies of holy shrines

These signs of love and peace upturned

Now speak of martyred blood now burned
