Socially Ironic

Socially Ironic

A Poem by R. Ellison
"

You decide.

"

Karma, the great equalizer

Lady Luck, The Fates

And I, Fortunes Friend

Luck. The fleet-footed sprinter of uncertainty

Plays the outcome in his favor

Simple and quick

The proper hand

A winning keystroke assured

Left becomes right

Right becomes wrong

And the world we know

Revolves again

Pick the right path

Fight the wrong fight?

Never knowing

Always dreaming

Know what you're doing

Though you haven't a clue

You chose wrong

Haven't you done this before?
