A Poem by MistyMaisy

Dripping, dripping, a splash on the floor,
you can see in my face I don't know anymore.
Twinkle, twinkle, my memories fade,
take me to the place my soul was laid.

Pulling, pulling, I try to resist,
I can't think, my mind's in mist.
Blurring, blurring, your features haze,
maybe no more caught in your maze.

Ripping, ripping, a game you play,
I can't ever hear a thing you say.
Running, running, an attempt to escape,
the best decision I ever make.

Spinning, spinning, the world around,
deeply scarred but make no sound.
Screaming, screaming, the look in your eyes,
I don't want to hear, all you tell is lies.

Beating, beating, a knock on the door,
aid to me, I'm terribly sore.
Rushing, rushing, don't make a sound,
the pain in my head begins to pound.
