Pretty Doll

Pretty Doll

A Poem by Moalix
"

Love oh how it makes an empty doll something more

"

A pretty doll

so decieving

you would think the doll could give her love something

but no

nothing

no heart to give

no warmth to live

because she's only filled with white stuffing

Paint the doll's eyes blue

Paint the tears down her face

Paint her hope, a place

that she can paint out how

you have stolen her heart

and without you

yes without you

she was never alive

A powerful poem. In so few words you create a complete story. I could feel the emptiness and the sadness in your words. A very good ending to your poem.
