Soothe His Fears

Soothe His Fears

A Poem by Moalix
"

Boy woke up scared one night..

"

" Baby it's okay, I'm right here."
Your soft sobs rip into me.
" Don't ever leave me," you whisper, shaking with fear.
" Don't be silly! We are forever and ever, will you tell me what's wrong?"
"I'll tell you later, please just hold me tight?"
My arms wrap around you and your head lays on my chest.
I stroke your hair," I will even tell you it'll be alright."
The tears stop finally and you calm in my arms.
In a quiet, content voice you whisper, "I love you."
I squeeze and whisper back," I love you too."

A beautiful poem of hope and tenderness. We must fall to tears to hold on to something good. A excellent poem. Description was very good in the poem.
