X marks the spot
in the alley behind my suite
X marks the spot
where the body hit the street
X marks the spot
where blood and pavement blend
X marks the spot
Where life came to an end

X marks the spot
and emergency sirens blared
X marks the spot
to where all the pedestrians stared
X marks the spot
40 feet below
the balcony of my apartment
where off, my "X" did go

X marks the spot.

That was clever use of rhyme. I thought that it was good all around it doesn't leave much to mystery but mystery isn't everything. Good to go.
