A Poem by Ana B.

This space less infinity stays unexplored
Wave after wave of  insecurity...
But all that I want is to be adored
And break the chains of this prevalent obscurity.
I took a harmless walk on your shore.
I'm humbled.
And now I have these thoughts I can't ignore
And my convictions - outnumbered.
I want to be so many things, mostly -alive
Will you show me how to do it?
We should live in grace, not to just survive
And whatever happens to never quit.
Am I in too deep in this ocean...
how can I win,
when I never learned how to swim?

This writing is next level Ana, very nicely penned. You give vulnerability a voice that is whisper gentle but the power and honest booms out in a thunderous chorus. What a stellar song choice as well. Superb! R x

Thank you very much Ray :) i actually wrote this a very long time ago....revisiting stuff...
some fish were born to swim in the deepest depths of the worlds oceans. They are usually spectacular species - pure miracles of evolution to be able to survive the dark and the pressures and the loneliness. But they are much rarer than the dolphins who play all day, the minnows who number in the millions upon millions and the big whales and sharks who do what they do.
swimming comes in many forms, from the swish of the tail of the seahorse to the whole body propulsion systems of the cuttlefish and the jellyfish to the floating of plankton, but its all swimming dear poet.
A different way of staying afloat is all.
Very deep musings here my friend - all good

Thank you Deepika :)
Sometimes Ana I wonder how old you are, if its down to your photo then you must be just a girl, even a teen but when you write you become a mind steeped in years of experience and ages of wisdom gathered from pain and suffering to joyous peace and happiness, whatever the answer you have that ageless ability to put pen to paper and produce a work of majesty, all you want is to be adored ? sometime I can see you will have an audience of adoration for such work as this :)

"Am I in too deep in this ocean...

I love the ending Ana... you said it beautifully and I can relate to those words. Sometimes we feel we are in way over our heads and don't know how to just thrive and be happy in that moment because it's so new and fresh. Good work my friend I really enjoyed it :)
