L ENITY

In the skies of my sorrow

No trespassers for a while…

Walking down my path trying to follow

That sweet light, that’s always ready to gift a smile

My lovely air wanderer

Keep caressing those clouds of my sky…

Some need a sun, others a conqueror

To slaughter the shadows that keep on coming by…

A silent gentleness

To paint one’s life in beauty

Because sometimes a small caress

Can save this world drowned in cruelty…

O BSESSION

Staring through the window

At a foreign life …

Unintentional linger

For a chat that’ll never arrive

Staring at the space…

Cause you’d be on my mind

That familiar stranger with no face

Tickling my sanity, that I’ve carefully designed

Staring into the night

At this disturbing intrusion in my life…

Dreaming of a forbidden delight

After all, you already have a wife…

S ANITY

Midnight waltzes

In the cemetery of my dreams

What are the chances

To resurrect those foolish things…

That are causing that sweet intoxication

Making me paint a lazy sky…

Life is tiresome, with every tiny fraction

Never really wondering why…

Why the God of Lightning

Has blessed the parting heavens…

Death is not as frightening

As it is the Life’s disturbing presence…

T IDE

Light and darkness

In eternal disparity…

Life is joy. Life is sadness.

Ends and begins with frightening regularity

The boy I loved…

The gravity I’ve beaten…

Heartache undeserved

Forever in my soul is written…

Time melting my days

Wave after wave…

And me, looking for the ways

To beat my fears…without being brave…

great idea Ana, missed your stuff for a while and you're back with a bang, this 4 part poem has a feeling of power and some emotions going on the first part second stanza is absolutely stunning, the second part is dark with its title 'Obsession' that desire for the unobtainable is strong with passion, the third part feels like falling into the arms of death but finding its not the terrible thing we fear, you come into part four in a philosophical manner the way of life joy and sadness mixed, the lost love, you left watching time drift away and searching for a way to survive fear to find peace of heart and mind, amazing writing, you're back!
