10 seconds till sunrise

10 seconds till sunrise

A Poem by Ana B.

Subtle working has this silicon veil…

Clouding Archeus’  bashful effulgence,

All of us living in our homemade jail

Feeding off the commiserations indulgence…

Throwing digital daggers at each other

With spectacular opulence.

Tears of sulfur we gather

With words as our eternal monuments.

And in this culture of fear

How talented is death -

The true sincerity’s emir

To whom we’re not  afraid to confess…

Archeus - is also called the Anima Mundi, Soul of the World, Spirit of the World, The Transitive LVX, The Path of Saturn (connecting Malkuth and Yesod in the system of Jewish mysticism called the Kabbalah), the Earth Sphere and the Zone Girdling the Earth. It is also sometimes simply called the lower astral sphere, or the "geographic" region of it, as everything in the Archeus parallels physical manifestation.

Agreed. 'Bots already got us licked. Our big deaths will be the last, great, human experience.

scary and thrilling eh? Thank you :)
Who truly views the full consequence of a walked-upon path - at the beginnings of their lifetime? And when you TRULY do "understand" the depths of a choice is there any choice left at all?

Talk about timing
i was just thinking about that in the morning
how fear changes the make up of places
how people interact
how happy they are and could be

The sun rises all the same on everyone
Really you touched so much

Thanks for sharing

Thank you very much, SS :)
I guess you're trying to imply how our generation of millennials coincide with everyday work life. That sometimes our refuge is words that will linger a test of time, no matter how vague and self-afflicting life is.

Great read to use the word Archeus as it brings a sense of curiosity on how it is used and what it represents which is I think something as powerful as Time and High Being as well.

Great read =)

The reference to Archeus is sublime. We know, or think we know, so much of the immediate, but that is like seeing only the tip of the iceberg and ignoring the peril beneath.

Thank you for the wonderful words, Beccy :)
I remembered an email I got yesterday when I read this one Ana. An email from an online publication called The Bulletin Of Atomic Scientists. It has this clock which is used to indicate the likelihood of an atomic war as assessed by said boffins. Yesterday it moved closest to the annihilation stroke of midnight that it has ever been - 2 1/2 minutes to midnight.
Your title and the reference to death and digital swords being crossed made me think you of this as a Cassandra-esque piece.
Chilling eloquence Ana (for me)
=:O

very sharp writing. To give death the attribute of talent was profound. Great job.
