A Poem by Ana B.

I wonder if each man has known

The irreversible alchemy of fear.

Does someone hear the wearied groan

Of the empty vessels we chose to revere?

I wonder if at least sometimes you can hear

My breath’s tired indignation…

Perhaps you do sense it my dear -

My heart’s tender hesitation…

I wonder if someone, somewhere has found

The cracks in immortality…

Or is this life completely about

the highlights of the alacrity’s triviality?

Can’t be…

It's quite breathtaking. "irreversible alchemy of fear"... that's f*****g fantastic. There's a couple gems in there like that.

I like to think there is a reason why you flipped your indentations. You're not Japanese.

This is about lady power isn't it?

Even if you're actually a dude in a yellow dress, this is still something objectively good. (alacrity - triviality... don't see those words used coherently too often. you're the new vocab queen... I owe you a brisk hand job)

and you still came out ok, sort of...
Excellent, excellent word choice. 10/10 in that sense, truly. This piece doesn't short-change the reader in the way of power, and it gives me reason to think long after the initial read.

Awesome, Ana. :)

The thimbles and cracks, the small holes and pacts, they are never found, for they are never searched. Not ever hiding but always shouting out, who will find a noisy crowd?

whoever will hear the silence, with their heart's guidance. Thank you for stopping by :)
i feel this is true....the really important things in life...the life or death events...are glossed over...not really felt...because we just settle for the trivial and think that is what life is all about.

The coffee enhances the mind's view of your thought...
There is a self-styled flow to your poetry, Ana. Just as the brushstrokes of a painter may be recognized there is a 'vibe' to your creations.
A somber (and searching) chord that makes one set aside their thoughts to absorb the tune...and then reflect upon feelings conjured.
Yet another well crafted portrait, dear Ana.

OMG - The ink Spots (I dont want to set the world on fire... one of my all time fav songs)
I think life is like (noooo, not chocolates...) a brass cylinder that the early music player (a melodian??) with the raised bumps utilised.
It's pretty much the inane stuff that facebook is stuffed with but the bumps when encountered are the meaningful 'bumps' of life - they can be good bumps or bad bumps but they will be played out - and felt by the melodian (that's you - take a curtsy bow - that's enough, this is my waffle)

You never shirk from the big questions in Life Ana. How about I ask you one ? Would you like to swing on a star ? ;P
