Pain Inside

Pain Inside

A Poem by modtoddinc
"

a quick write; after a religeous discussion on faith...

"
Contrary existences,
Pushing through space,
Positive instances,
Moving in haste.

Settling down all around,
Exemplifying a sound,
Within each soul; a strain,
Of underlying pain.

... Negatively equal to,
That which we chase...
Forgetting ourselves,
Remaining in place.

Stuck from the growth,
Sticking to our oath,
Denying the truth with these lies...

A very thin ice.

Falling into a freezing water,
Dissolving our clay from the potter,
How will we ever begin again?
In the end.

Hypothermic surprise,
Looking out from these hollow eyes,
A glimmer of fire; surprise.
Heating with distant desire...

For redemption.

An old, old story
An ancient turtles glory,
Holding up the world,
Where he was hurled.

Accepting the All,
Embracing the fall,
Changing the call,
To match the vibrations of our experience.

I feel when God took on flesh he did not refuse to suffer pain only he endured pain and suffering. Certainly that must mean something in the whole scheme of things.

Thank you for sharing these inner most thoughts...
