A poem influenced by the knowledge that everything together makes up the truth... we live in a world of duality and must embrace opposites for understanding.
"Unless ye make the things of the right hand as those
of the left, and those of the left as those of the right, and those that are
above as those below, and those that are behind as those that are before, ye
shall not have knowledge of the kingdom." Acts of Peter XXXVIII
Todd, This is one of the types of writes that I find hard to explain WHY it is so well done; I just look at the work as A WHOLE and say this: AMAZING! The philosophical theorem with which you preface the write is intriguing enough to get the reader (at least this one) anticipating greatness within the subsequent read, and then you deliver the goods in sensational style. The religious overtones in the piece play a pivotal role in the storytelling, but this is much more than a story. This is a philosophy, outlined magnificently within the whole piece, which is (in my opinion) a masterpiece. I must say I've been on WC since mid-January, and of the poets I've read since, you have arguably grown as much as a writer as anyone else that I've read. This is a beautiful work, and it's going right into my library favorites. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. (BTW, acoustic AC/DC? A brilliant choice of accompaniment!) take care...dan
Good music and powerful poetry and thoughts. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to the strong ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

this is fantastic. It all comes together so perfectly the.words the flow, the acoustic guitar playing. Live each day like it could be your last. You can t change yesterday or know what is tomorrow.. just live in the here and now!! love it.
as much as we hope there is something after this life that is better...perhaps there is only dust...and if so...we need to make the best of the time here...our "present place" is most important...not the one we think is going to be in the future...live for the now.

I write what I feel with honesty, and integrity. I love art in all it's forms, especially poetry and multi-media. I love to read, watch movies, play music, and study comparative mythology. I hope to o.. more..
