Fluttering Feelings

I acquainted someone and then it didn't work out the way I wanted it to, if I ever knew in the first place what I wanted that is.

Something you asked yourself a thousand times,

what is love?

What is this feeling thinking you found the one you have been looking for all your life

just to find out that you are not good enough yet to be with her.

And yet, you feel satisfied, even if you are doomed to lose contact

and you don't know what it was - these few days you spent with her -

you know she is not a person who came into your life for a lesson and

yet, you are not sad that she decided to go before you decided to drop her.

You feel melancholic, not much so depressed, just a little bittersweet.

And maybe mad at yourself, for not being ready yet while this person has been waiting for all of her life for you, too.

And now she is a person who can move on so easily while you are stuck on being you and can't even get over yourself. 

Hope and Joy for having met her. She will also be a part of me I know I will be searching for all my life.
