Monster Inside

A Poem by the penumbra

We all have our bad sides..

There's a Monster inside of me
Locked up
Kept away.
It's scratching at the walls
Dying to be free.
I'm sorry for the way I am
I just can't hold back The Monster inside.
It's ripping through my flesh
Trying so hard to break me.
I feel like I can't breath
Through all the pain.
I've kept this hidden to long.
It wants to be fed
To taste the
Blood
Fear...
I never mean to hurt you
But I'm dying to feel your flesh...
I hate you.
The voices are screaming out to me.
The Monster inside me....
It's time to set you free.
