Lithium

Lithium

A Poem by the penumbra

Trap my soul in a cage of lithium my dear,
And hope my soul stays put.
Far away into a land of the unknown to even the loneliest of men could never find.
Where even the ravens never dare trespass,
Or the most curious of cats never think to wonder.
Love me from afar never up close,
Venom is more poisonous when bitten.

I wish I could writer shorter. I couldn't say what you just said in twice as many words. interesting title, it was what originally what pulled me in. A compelling poem, and story, excellent job.
