Lasting Gladius

Lasting Gladius

A Poem by Anonymous
"

Forsworn my dear gladius, for you mourned our carnations. Puzzle, Mystery, poetry.

"
Gladius,
I walk this path
Cobbled dirt road,
Gray uneven feet
Stumble towards it,
It, a lost fragment
of our last meeting
It, a brush of hands
A passing light, a
passive fight,
lost in empty cups
latent in screams
of distress, upon
It, on the desk.
two lines.

"Mourning, carnation,"

I'm practicing poetry, or writing with this, so I may be posting a lot of stuff that may not be the best. What do you think this is about? I would love to hear your thoughts :) this is intended as a mystery to be uncovered.
