BOOM

BOOM

A Poem by MrsHydrangea
"

I was angry this afternoon, so I sat down to write...This is what happened. Let go. Let flow.

"

A torrid coal

Smoldering and incandescent

Suspended

Churning

At the core of my abyss

Manifesting

Ascending

From dark caverns

I call home.

Heat

Pulsating from within

Compressing

Shaping

Sculpting

My anger

Into a stone.

BOOM

I explode.

And

for

what?

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned." --Buddha

About
I enjoy reading and attempting to write. I have fear of allowing anyone other than my husband to read my work, but here I am, facing my fear head on. I do not claim to be a great writer or even a good.. more..
