What was God thinking?

What was God thinking?

A Poem by Mrudula Rani
"

Few thoughts on God.

"
What were God's templates
For this living world when he contemplated?
Shape of a fist, with tail, and feathers made the figure for birds?
For whales, and worms; forms he drew from drops of fluid?
His step stool was the tool that inspired an image for pets; cat or dog?
Four legged and sat at His heel?

In his flood of inspiration He poured life into
Creatures with fins to four limbs?
Brought into His world unicellular organisms from oceans
to multi organed mammals to graze on land!
He kept His earlier accomplishments
To refresh His memory?
To prove us our origins?
Easier to explain Evolution?
As we trace our humble beginnings,
He thought , We would be compassionate
towards His creation?
" He made man in His image...."
And kept us on top of food-chain; to manage his brood?
Now how would He feel, about us ransacking that deal?

It is quite strange in a way.
The world is actually perfect.
It is perfect for the animal kingdom.
Sadly, mankind has ruined it.

This is a very unexpected message! And a wondrous surprise at that! I have often pondered the same thing, being enthralled by the amount of imagination would be involved in creating all the creatures of the world! Mind boggling! Your specific questioning is like no other, very original thinking & good details. I like the way your questioning feels conversational & informal, not heavy with "Christian-ese" language. I love the idea (which I've never thought of) about how did God think of using dogs for our companions? I believe there's are many lessons to be learned from living with creatures! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
