I write

I write

A Poem by Mrudula Rani

I write from my personal experiences,
Even though I do own a fertile imagination
It is just that I can't avoid my conscience
Demanding explanations, and justifications
For my every elaborate depictions!

To evade with myself a debate,
Over the scenarios probabilities
I do not venture into make believe
That I can't make myself believe!

The well of creativity is very deep. Some imaginations can be tamed and some run wild into the far reaches... Some believe in reality and some are on a flight of fancy. Some are in contact with their conscience and some are not. You sum it all up marvelously in a short but wonderful poem.

Iam glad you liked my words. Thank you very much for reading my poem.
Right there you captured the inner dynamic, conflict of emotions that all creative people (especially writers) go through. There are writers, like myself and yourself as you explain here in your poem, who write whilst always drawing from mostly real and personal experiences; and there are writers who like to venture into fantasies. But I think no one is right or wrong, because, after all, we're all fictional creative writers.

However, I do certainly know that your poem sums up what we writers constantly grapple with in our selves.

What do you think about my observation?

WELL DONE
