Kelly, this piece made me think of the old Elton John song: "Love Lies Bleeding." Having a golden day as a backdrop while experiencing the pain of lost love...the lovely weather seems to emphasize the hurt, like "Hey, quit shining, sun! Can't you see my anguish?" A beautifully written piece. take care...dan

Madeline was born, I gave Edie the CD package of
at least four CD's of Dion with little babies, singing
beautiful baby songs as if the babies were her own,
and perhaps they were her very own baby boys.
I only know they were very precious sings...
truly, Pat
You have a way of writing so that all your words support one special phrase, making it emotional and memorable. BTW, remember the song "Seasons in the Sun"?
The pain of leaving the one you love whether through death or geographical distance is intense here, Kelly. I read that Celine Dion's husband wishes to die in her arms....such a romantic yet bittersweet thought. Beautifully written, Kelly. So emotive. Lydi**

How ironic, that we lean on love to get us through so much in life. Many thanks, Lydi!
This is a beautiful write... I also read his dying wish and I was kind of blown away or kind of stopped and thought wow to myself... that's love right there. You captured that perfectly :)
