The Nirvana of Morning

The Nirvana of Morning

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

The nirvana Of morning

Please don’t speak

until the stirring of

a rounded teaspoon

can be heard…

at least not until

the circumference of

a cup greets

the finely granulated crystals

of sugar,

and the fluidity of cream…

not a moment before

my tongue is sated

and the sun peers into

my cataleptic consciousness,

and I am methodically awakened by

the nirvana of morning.

Hello, Kelly! :)
This is very sexy coffee. I'm guessing it's not dunkin donuts. The shapes and textures in your descriptions, combined with the lighting in the photo, really paint a scene.

I'm so particular about making the two mesh together. I really appreciate you taking notice...thank.. read more
if the other speaks, the spell of night is broken, and the reality of a new day and the mundane life goes down our throat like that cup of whatever...

again you create a spell with your writings...

you set a tone and mood and make each reader feel like he or she is the speaker.
