Such Days

Such Days

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

There are often such days

when the sun doesn't shine,
when clouds promise rain
and a love seeks to be;
when standing alone

never twice feels the same,
and living alone doesn't matter.

dear Kelly... your poetry leaves a quiet acceptance of fear and being alone...
truly, Pat

...that's exactly what I wanted it to do! Thanks so much, Pat!
standing alone never does feel the same twice...much experience with this...many empty doorways and rain soaked windows...but then new adventures creep in...and the living alone gets tested.
