How did you come up with this; it’s lovely… so simple and yet riveting. I read it like ten times. lol
The image I have is a worn book on the shelf, the reader of which returns to it again and again, reading only the parts that he just can’t get out of his head… beautiful; and the metaphor, of course, is exquisite. Poetry like this is so powerful, like the quip from Ezra Pound, “In a Station of the Metro.”

I have a habit of doing this whenever I read a book. It scrapbooks a page for memory, so I can go back to it again and again...just like you said. I will look up the poem by Ezra Pound, and be certain to get back to you. You are most kind for making such a review leap from the screen and into my heart. That's quite a feat. Thank you!

I now have another favorite poet - Ezra Pound. Wow, I looked through a compilation of poetry and quotes, and was left in awe. His description of fleeting apparitions in comparison to the wilting nature of a petal stuck to a wet tree, staggered my imagination. A thousand thank you's for making such a comparison to my writing, and for this incredible introduction to the poet, himself. The inspiration is already stirring inside me - I can feel it!
