Rhyme

Rhyme

A Poem by Mwash
"

A piece written in a moment of madness.

"

Every day I pray and wish,

To write a flawless rhyme,

Wandering thoughts to leash,

To earn myself a dime.

Nought I have written,

To fame and glory reach,

I scarcely own a kitten,

Living like a leech.

Anytime I pen my thoughts,

The rules are forgotten,

Rhyme scheme and meter lost,

I end up feeling rotten.

Finally I’ve decided,

To slowly bide my time,

Thought I may be chided,

Till I write a flawless rhyme.
