Writer's Block

Writer's Block

Line after line as blank as can be.

What can I do, with no ideas to see.

The tv is on. The radio too.

I am soo bored, with nothing to do.

It's raining outside.

Like cats and dogs.

A twister went by.

And so did my neighbours pet hog.

But there's nothing to write about.

At least that I can see.

Just some blank lines are staring at me.'

What can I write about?

Besides, my old flame?

He's gotton kinda scarey, and his

drinking is lame.

He has a big gut now.

The hair has gone to his ears.

So, romance is out of the question,

sense I haven't had a date in a few years....

I do like adventure.

But what could it be.....

I saw a little green dude last night, he

was stuck in my tree.

Naw, he was just from out of town.

He's not that interesting.

He looked like a clown.

It was weird how he beemed up to his

jet plane.

I guess, all out of towners travle that way.

Nope nothing to write about.

I guess, that's it for today.

I'll just put my pen down.

And let my mind go astray.

Then maybe this writer's block will be over

soon.

Because, nothing happens around here.

Nothing exciting and new!
