These Feelings

These Feelings

A Poem by MIA ST. PAUL

These Feelings

These feelings come once again..

to torment me

to make me bend

it is not enough to say,

Please!  Please! Just Go away!

Darkness comes

to consume the light.

Soon I'm losing an

endless fight.

I'm scared when I feel this way.

Never know what I will do

or will say.

These feelings stay for a while,

breaking my spirit,

and taking my smile.

I wish this day would end

and give my soul

some time to mend.

So before I lay my head down to sleep,

I drop to me knees,

and start to weep.

Looking up to the ceiling,

and I pray..

Please! Please! Dear lord..

let tomorrow be a better day.

WOW that was amazing Mia!!! I love how you get
the reader to feel along with you all of the pain.
The rhyme was perfect and the ending made me
smile.

Great write Mia thanks for sharing.

powerful write, as though some temptation were waging a war in your soul, and you are holding on by a single string- your faith. Been there.

The rhyming makes it light and simple, but I can tell that it has a lot of complex meanings and it's anything but light. Very nice balance.
Bravo!
