Need.

Need.

A Poem by Natasha

Song bird’s minute melody lost to some confusion of a bustling mind.
Tangled sheets wrapping her up in a cocoon; comfort, suffocation. So sweet.

Idle meanings in clasped hands. Black curtains drawn close; pitch black close.
His sentiments, exactly - the sleepy gaze, the lost partner.
Technologic wishes abandoned.
Doors opening to bright flashes.
Wrapped in security, lazy stares into blinking madness.
Resist. Deny. Rebel. Defy.
Short click, softly. Sheets ripped. A flurry of arms and legs.
Sweetness twirling over entwined fingers.
Heartbeats multiplied. Folie à duex.*
Whispered everythings, or anythings, or somethings. Not nothings.
Circle, circle, dot, dot; darling, don’t miss this spot.
Flamed hearts on baring chests. Icy brushes inspiring.
Loneliness, past tense.
Unions, butterfly waltzes.
Delicate heart meets time.
Slowly, so very still.
