Blame a kid in my first period class... I'm dying laughing.

Idle chatter fills the room

Two kids sit in the back

One is writing

One is looking up memes

He shows her one

She can't help but giggle

It's a rare noise from her

And he stops and stares

She feels self-conscious

He starts to feel bad

She looks away quickly

He says it's not bad

She looks up at him

He gives her a smile

She covers her mouth

And giggles once more

Hours pass

Another friend laughs

Sarcastically it seems

And all she does is stare

Their eyes meet

She smiles slightly

Then bursts into laughter

So different from before

Laughter helped

Her dark mood

And now she laughs

Without faking it

Today has proved

That the medicine

That helps the most

Is laughter caused by friends
