Olly Olly Oxen-Free

Olly Olly Oxen-Free

A Poem by Nance

If I throw myself..

on the floor again

if my heart can endure

love and loss again

I will ascend

to a higher consciousness

where souls shine bright

where wishes blow freely

with warmth from the cold

where truth is told

as it whispers the past

and foretells the future

to call me home
