Smouldering Horizons

Smouldering Horizons

A Poem by Natalie C

Shining so bright, know I am always nearby
Through endless horizons, up in stratospheres so high
Magical hues of amourous golden rays
Touching the face of my beloved far away.

Vibrant winds craft our spirits as one
In soft crimson luminosity the sun sets to stun
Rainbow coloured butterflies sending honey kisses
Flickering, fluttering through feelings of bliss

Beating hearts between us feeling so close
Wanting you so much, thoughts to engross.
Desire alive within soft splendorous airs
Caught in a tender embrace forever shared

Silent, foreboding washing away life
Deepening greys destructive sickening strife
Cries of the night birds fill the darkened hue
Glimmering delights shine refelections of you

We are intimately touching in so many ways
Loving sighs always end our divided days

A stunningly beautiful romantic piece, of deep emotions , and days are endeed divided making it sad too..........

Shining so bright, know I am always nearby
Through endless horizons, up in stratospheres so high
Magical hues of amourous golden rays
Touching the face of my beloved far away.

Awwww. This was purely magical and so beautifully written. I could feel the strength of your emotions leap from the page with a dancers grace. I am so deeply moved by your display of yourself and the picture you painted so wonderfully. I loved this and I am sure whom ever this is for feels the same way.

Great JOb!!!!!!

You paint such a beautiful picture with your words. I can see the distance and ache in your heart, feel as you become one through the distance.
I know I always revert to nautical ideals and such, but this takes me to the seashore, looking at a lady waiting for her sailor to return.
Absolutely brilliant and very well done!

ach, full on romance...though i ain't such a big romantical myself i do enjoy reading it at times cos it sweetens me up. and this sweetens my up to goosgog almost...especially the notion of sort of morphing into the sodding atmosphere and spanning distance to the love object! 'Touching the face of my beloved far away' is a lovely line. And then 'vibrant winds craft our spirits' i like. But for some reason the line that bosses my mind is 'Cries of the night birds fill the darkened hue' and I dunno why cos it does not seem that romantical, but it does not seem out of place! Reminds me of the desire vampire in Melt, perhaps. Sighs.

"In soft crimson luminosity the sun sets to stun"

Way to pin this to the readers heart.
I understand the pain of having ones love so far away for so long.
Mine is states and states away from Texas.
I know all to well how the "Loving sighs always end our divided days"....
Bravo, my friend.
This is beautiful.

With words as tender as these, it's no wonder you have wooed your man. A write so amazing that even the word Beauty is too small to describe it. This is stunningly evocative and lovely. No wonder....no wonder!

What a beautiful picture!!!! Desire desolation yearning and foreboding get intertwined with the beauty of the horizon through your writing.
