7. Read books

  I realize that I don't know much about English writers. I do have some knowledge in French literature because I major in it, but in English... List of things I've read in that field (us, uk): some Fitzgerald, Gone with the wind, Little Women, Flowers for Algernon, The perk of being Wallflower, HP, Of Mouses and Men, half of On the Road, Some Shakespeare's play (in French) (King Lear, Romeo and Juliet)

Ok so for a start, here's a rather subjective lists of authors I should read, found on Internet:
