Late night mind drifting and filled with anxiety. An unexpected visitor magically appears and restores sanity.

Midnight Butterfly (Dec 28 2015)
Writings by Marcello

A late night sojourn
From a woman celestial
In the midst of a wrestle
With emotions so stressful

Like a midnight butterfly
Manifesting in the sky
Attempting to purify
Thoughts that horrify

A gift from above
She rescued my mind
No longer in darkness
As her bright light shined

Her presence invigorating
Her aura devine
Her beauty captivating
God's perfect design

Her soul sharp as knife
Piercing the heart of
This late night mind drifter
Instilling tough love

If I could only grab her
I would kiss her so hard
If I could only embrace her
Her heart I would guard

But as fast as she came
She quickly said bye
Dissapearing before me
Fading in the night's sky
Was this for real?
Or did I personify
This spellcaster ally
My midnight butterfly
