Still somehow I wait

Still somehow I wait

A Poem by Masked writer
"

For the one my sould connected to once..

"
Still I somehow wait
For you to return my dads call
The weeks that pass send shivers
and yet nothing at all

Still somehow I wait
A doll no longer standing tall
Your silence starts to kill me
and soon im crying in a ball

Still somehow I wait
but yet you never return..
late january has fallen, and i still have heard no word..

yet somehow I still wait
For footsteps at my door

And stil i wait and wait
for the chatter we once spoke

But at night when im alone
and the memories start to flow
Is it a something bad..
Or should we finally just let go?

It is hard to let go. This poem speaks to me of family breakups when children are caught in the crossfire. How difficult it must be to lose a parent that way. To wait and wait for contact and it never comes. Your poem could be read in other ways as well. The waiting is a heartbreaker.

It is about a LDR.
thankyou for the review
aw, Dear Masked Writer, I know you wrote it our mirrored view and not yours,
but I see both sides. I myself linger. In my vacant solace, I am insanely happy. MJK

The waiting game is a painful one to play.
The quiet can be heartbreaking. 💔

It is indeed...But they finally called
Waiting and silence are agony. I don’t like to be ignored and don’t tolerate it well

As do I

Sometimes, at least in the long run letting go is the quickest and least painful of all available options .. and at other times, in different circumstances, letting go is the only option .. I am glad I stopped by .. Neville

Sometimes....
sometimes the wait is just as bad as the call...
{emotional piece. heartfelt through and through.}
