Which path?

Which path?

A Story by Essy

A simple girl, on a path.
The road forks right or left.
To the right: social acceptance.
To the left: self acceptance.
She stares and finally starts walking.
She goes to the right
And walks off of a cliff
Landing in a bed of roses.
The thorns tear her apart.
But the sweet aroma forces her to give up
Let the brambles shred her
Until there is nothing left.
