The Wind Cried Mary

The Wind Cried Mary

A Poem by Neville
"

.... My dear Mum Mary passed away a year ago today early ..

"

The Wind Cried Mary

The wind it

Called her name

And she was gone

But a star

Was born instead

And while no one

Knows

For sure

Just how many

Stars burn bright

Mark these words

My friend another one

Shall surely shine tonight

While I shall whisper soft

Her name again that of Mother

Sorry to hear of your loss my friend. I feel a bit like an imposter, as no words will ease your hurt.
As your words support, this is a time for remembering all the good she brought and those around you, as well as tears and quiet contemplation. We'll still be here when you return. Go and deal with the important and we will be thinking of you.

A beautiful poem, Neville - short and sweet, with a lot of emotion behind each and every line. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and I'm sending good energy in your direction. May she rest in peace.

Dear Neville your words are beautiful. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Mum. May she RIP and I for one will be looking into the heavens tonight for that extra star. Take care of yourself while you grieve.
