A powerful, thought-provoking poem in remembrance of so many innocent souls lost to the full scale, shocking effects of the massive earthquake that hit Turkey/Syria unannounced with devastating consequences..
More power to your pen Neville, great to see you back from your recent respite and in fine writing form on form once more..

Your every line packs a most powerful punch. It's hard to fathom something as evocative as this, with the loss of life as staggering as it is. It certainly takes a while to process. Then we pray.

Thank you kindly & true .. Oh' and please forgive the delayed response Kelly .. Neville :)
If people aren't already sitting up and listening then we are in a far worse place than we thought. We should all be pulling in the same direction and putting the human back into humanity, instead of searching for the latest "life hack" the newspapers seem to think we missed the other 38 times they printed them, or didn't hear them all first time round when our grannies told us. Sense used to be common once upon a time ago too you know.
Now governments are busy having meetings about what to do to help, while the survivors risk freezing to death in fear of going into any buildings still standing.
Someone should tell them to put their free lunch down and grab a shovel or send whatever they need without wasting more time with comittee meetings.
Not so funny, but certainly sad mate.

Good to hear from you. Thought you might be another Emmajoy or Ken and been blocked by the "administrators"
Funny though that they use that word to describe the self though. Especially when useless arse wipes seems more appropriate.
