Prayer

 

Dear Lord

I have planned

Each second breath

And have since programmed

Each and every gasp pant and sigh

I have checked the integrity of my DNA

And forged an alibi

 

 

I will now

Show you hunger

I will now show you pain

I will now show you freedom

Time and time and time again

 

 

Shall I ever

 See you naked

Or exercise this tongue

Pray relieve me of this appetite

I beg thy will be done....…….Amen
