On the contrary

This made me smile. Reminds me of my teenage years, when I thought I was sophisticated in the art of wooing a lady, only to find that the lady (almost always) was more versed in the ways of love's pursuit than I was! Gentle is still a nice thing to be though. A very nice poem, Nev, with a warm glow to it!
