The Anger of an Angel

The Anger of an Angel

A Poem by Nichole Juliet Hemstock
"

When you die, your sins are washed away and you have wings. In my mind, that makes you an angel. This is a poem about how it would feel to have every burden lifted.

"
If I could fly over the sun
I wouldn't burn
My wings would fly
Through the clear air of the blue sky

If I could fly over the sun
It wouldn't hurt
I'd have you, all the way
I would have you to guide me, night or day

My tears would fall
Bringing me back to surrender all
The Anger of an Angel would be completely gone
As well as everything I have ever done wrong

The Anger of an Angel
Has let go, become old
It disappears at the sight of you
A touch, so loving, so bold
