A Poem by Nickee Carlson
"

My bestfriend. Sorry I treated her so badly.

"
Such a sweet and innocent girl,
Beaten and bruised by the words of the world.
So harmless and caring,
All the love that she's sharing.
But why is she left to hurt?
Cutting her arms behind her band shirt.
No one stopped to care for her feelings,
So she lays there and cries staring at her ceiling.
Til finally someone stopped being greedy,
Layed by her side and forgot they were needy,
They listened and cared,
For the feelings she shared.
And helped her through her pain,
Not caring if to their friends it was shame,
And now she smiles all the time.
I'm glad this girl is a bestfriend of mine.
To shee her happy and giving her a friend,
Is the best thing I've done to make a mend.
She was so alone and hurt by everyone,
And all she needed was someone.
Anyone who would listen,
To care if she was missin.
Angelica girl,
You are my whole world.
