My First Attempt...

Haiku's. I never thought I could do them or wanted to. Then I tried one... 6 later and I think I might be getting there!

Haiku.

Wrote my first Haiku

Never thought this was my thing

Is this my challenge?

 

The Wall.

Build up your walls now

Tear them all down brick by brick

My walls never come down

 

Death.

Death comes to us all

Are you sure you are ready?

Death is so final

 

Pride.

So do you feel pride?

And what does pride mean to you?

Are you far too proud?

 

Big.

Huge satisfaction

Can anything be too big?

Fill me with you lust

 

The Window.

A window to life

Looking out over yonder

My heart is here

Not 100% sure how to explain Haiku's.
Not even sure if they work and are "proper" ones.

Wow, I really love the first one. I myself have been dabbling with the whole 17 syllable idea lately, too. Check out some of my senryu 's (kinda like haikus).
