It’s like an itch I need to scratch.

The temptation almost too much to handle.

The feeling that it would all be worth it.

You would be soft and gentle, tender and slow.

Let me have this one pleasure, that one moment.

Give me unasked consent to that one tender act.

Allow me to have a moment of happiness.

Even if it is just once, allow me my hearts desire.

If I might, for just one moment; steal a kiss from your lips...

is it not so romantic, the notion of a stolen kiss from the object of your utmost desire? can anything be more tempting or exquisite? this poem literally exemplifies all those forbidden and tender feelings which define that one blissful moment, but to have it granted ...pure heaven, or a bitter disappointment? take courage, loving heart and be fickle for that one instant...steal that treasured prize!
