I met a man today, the most amazing man.

Stunningly smart, immaculately turned out.

A colourful checked suit, with antique gold buttons.

Tie that matched, black bowler hat and black; silver topped cane too.

He served our great Country.

I know he has seen many more.

Yet he is a man that cannot remember yesterday.

How must it be to have no recollection of the past, his amazing past?

He writes to remember his yesterdays.

While many of us write to forget today!
