Embers

Embers

A Poem by Nightstar
"

How crazy can one person be?

"

Embers flew threw the sky like birds trying to find their nests

On houses, their homes.

People could be heard screaming threw the doors.

Things once human ran through the smoke

Covered in red.

Embers hit trees and birds sending them down to the people below.

As houses fell the snow begin to cover the ground in white.

The embers covered the land,

For all the eye could see.

No one could escape the embers rage.

A smile I held as I stood tall and thin

Holding a torch burning the way

To victory.
